Who Can Open An Account?

You must belong to at least one of the following to be eligible for membership with Embarrass Vermillion FCU: Live, work, worship, or attend school in St. Louis County, MN, North of Hwy 16 for at least six months out of the year, or have family who do.

  • Employees and enrolled members of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa located in Nett Lake, MN, who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws in effect as of October 10, 2013

  • Employees of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa Reservation Tribal Government, located in Nett Lake, Minnesota

  • Employees of the Bois Forte Development Corporation located in Tower, Minnesota

  • Employees of the Nett Lake School, ISD #707, located in Nett Lake, Minnesota; Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union, employees of this credit union, persons retired as pensioners or annuitant from the above employment, volunteers, members of the immediate family or household, organizations of such persons, and corporate or other legal entities in the proposed charter

Important Items To Bring When Opening Your Account

2 forms of ID are required, one must be a photo ID. (Acceptable forms include: current driver's license, state-issued ID card, tribal ID card, current passport, Social Security Card, major credit card with a valid signature, birth certificate, or government-issued ID). If the address does not match your ID, bring with you a current utility bill that is mailed to your Adult membership for $25.00, and child membership for $5.00. These funds are deposited into your EVFCU savings account.
